Doesn't Kris Allen look quite a bit like Hal Sparks?
Kris has been an underdog all season long and tonight I think he bested Adam. Both singers did best with Song One, but I liked Kris' "Ain't No Sunshine" a little better. Round two was close, but Kris seemed more comfortable singing the yucky winners' song in Round Three.

I always rooted for the Red Sox and Cubs when they did manage to make the playoffs and I'm a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan (Super Bowl record 0 and 4). So, not only did Kris get my internal vote, but I actually called and voted for him a few times---and that's the first I've done anything like that all year. I "like" him a little better, and with a contest this close sometimes it is more about who you like. Either way, this year's champ has earned it.
