Last Sunday, as posted here, I spent HOURS cleaning out our "junk drawer". It's still very organized. Normally, I mess it up in the weeks that follow...but it took me SO LONG this time, and was SO frustrating that I promise to forever keep it tidy.
Why did it take so many hours? Because of all of the change. We had two small bowls filled with change, but then the change overflowed all over the drawer. It was a disaster, several years in the making!
I wrote that I was saving the best part for last...and here it is! My wife gave me a Change Counter Jug for Christmas...and boy did we fill it up! $ 275.72. The darn thing was SO HEAVY it almost broke a folding table!
Now, the coins have been rolled and deposited...and the Mrs. bought already bought herself a pair of Ugg boots. Well, there's $75.72 left for me---about 28%. I can't believe she even let me keep that much. I'll hang on to it for something, eventually. Thank God the economy doesn't depend on me, because it would come to a screeching halt. Oh, wait a minute...
