Today is Internet Safety Day...and a good day for moms and dads to pay attention to how their kids use the internet. There are many ways to monitor the sites your kids go to (and blocking for that matter), but where most grown-ups get confused (myself included) is all of this lingo. Lingo you would find in chatrooms, instant messaging and texting.
I just played "Takin' Care of Business" by BTO and would figure that would mean "Taking Care (of) Business". Nope, "TCB" is "Trouble Came Back".
Here's a very detailed list of somewhat common acronyms. Check 'em out. It's a good way to keep an eye on what your kids are doing...and to stay cool. If that's possible in their eyes these days! :)
